When Katelyn asked me to write this week’s post the idea of racing made me reminisce to an earlier time…

When I was younger I was that awkward, chubby kid with the bad haircut and braces. So you can easily imagine that I was not athletic. When it came to running carnivals I always (without fail) came last. It wasn’t until one day that a family friend of mine gave me the encouraging advice that I never came last. In fact I came first from the other end!

You are most likely reading this trying to comprehend why I’m telling everyone in cyberspace this embarrassing childhood experience – well it’s because the race day events are coming and they aren’t stopping for any one.

Katelyn Aslett has a sexy secretary-esq range of cardigans, matching skirts with that pop of colour that will make you a winner at the races. These on trend colours are bold but still remain playful; leaving room for the imagination to accessorize with neon fascinators or chunky jewellery. They range from these seasons colours of fuchsia, tangerines, vermillion, and teal. They are most certainly a stand out in the crowd.

Now the thing is, these divine creatures are only available while they last so unlike the motto in my little story read earlier, there will be no first place from the other end if these garments sell out. You will simply be left with nothing to wear to the races.
